Security Threat
My sisters sent me back with a care package that included coffee. Dodge City airport was on high alert at the suspicious package!
Ok, ok, I jest at the security threat. I'm grateful no one can get past TSA. The package was aluminum so I can see how it needed checked.
But did they really have to destroy the package when opening it?! I watched the agent use scissors to haphazardly tear into the package to reveal... ground coffee.
Why didn't I just check it? Well... since I knew I'd be flying back to Kansas frequently, I left clothes at my parents' and one sister's houses so I didn't have to haul suitcases and check bags. Overall it was a good idea that I stand by. But this day, it was irritating since coffee now spilled throughout my laptop bag.

I do enjoy airports. You can meet some really interesting people. I had a few hours layover in Denver so I set up shop at the wine bar where I fell in love.
He's tall, dark and Spanish. Mmmmm.

Round Two
Kathy invited me back for another week. I must be a good houseguest.

The giant iguanas still freak me out. Yes, I know technically they aren't giant, GIANT. But a big creepy crawly thing is a giant to me.

Enthusiasm level: 7. I'm working a lot and not seeing as many sights as I'd envisioned on this trip.
Here’s to being invited back,

Unedited by another. Typos are on the house.
