Day 1
I spent the night with my sister Molly so I could say goodbye to all the kids and get to my Uber ride (Mom) quicker.
Ok, ok it’s actually because I washed my sheets yesterday and wanted to keep them clean for my return. I know Molly is more proud than offended. Haha
My 5yo niece is our family’s fashion queen so I got her recommendation shoes before I left.
Me: hey Laney do these boots look good with this?
Her: do you have anything else?
Me: some white shoes already packed.
Her: maybe you should wear the white ones.
I wore the white ones. 😆
You’d think as a designer I’d be good at this fashion thing. I’m not.

How long does it take to setup a new laptop? Exactly one layover in Denver. Yesterday my normal travel laptop decided to retire without consulting me. 🫣
I’ve never purchased a computer without a ton of research so I’m praying the smallest gaming laptop Dodge City Walmart had in stock is good enough to get me through a week of work while I travel. 🙏

The ultimate goal of this trip is another pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal. If youve been following along you’ll recall I only blogged about half the trip last year because I got busy… so the plan for this trip is to just post unedited every day so I CAN’T get behind.

During the last pilgrimage we learned about the power of our guardian angels. Mine is pretty awesome so I make it a point to thank him more often now. And! Ask him to help me out through the day. This morning I prayed for all the folks I’d meet today. Especially the lucky ones who get a seat next to me.
I was blessed on all 3 flights!
